The USB LAN adapter works perfectly with the Wii system and it costs far less than many other adapters. I connected it to my LAN router with DSL and I had the Wii online within seconds.

I bought this adapter because it was inexpensive, and according to one of the several websites I dug through, was supposed to be compatible with the Nintendo Wii. Needless to say, my Wii’s wi-fi connection was behaving poorly (waiting 2+ minutes to load the Shopping Channel), when my laptop had perfectly normal, fast wireless access to my router. I read that this can be due to a conflict between the Wii’s Bluetooth radio for the Wii remote and the wireless network adapter inside the console, as they are in very close proximity to each other.
Highly recommended for anyone who also finds the Wii wi-fi inadequate.
